my word had "trouble loading" and reset all it data after lots of progress

this has happened twice after a lot of progress and lots of hours of playing my world says it has trouble loading then it puts me back to the start where none of my structures and or items are there back at the spawn point which is really frustrating so im wondering if there is a way to get my world back or fix this issue. I also found another person with the same problem from a year ago. (btw I didn't know which type of Minecraft I play to put on the first one.
