Multiplayer game turing off on a world. Even if it is turned on in the settings when not in the world

When I open my world and any of my friends want to join the world they can't because multiplayer game turns off when I am playing in the world. But when I exit that world and look at its settings multiplayer game is on. Whenever I play in the world, multiplayer game turns off.
