Farmer villager not using composter and not restocking trades.

So I built my own village and spawned in some villagers, but when they went up to the composter to do their job they didn't do anything. I also noticed that they would not harvest any crops or plant any crops. I think this bug is due to the fact that I spawned instead of them spawning naturally.
