Inventory Bug?

In one picture you will see the crafting book is open. The other picture you will see that it is closed. The issue is before I signed onto another friends Xbox my Crafting screen and my inventory screen were able to be set with the book opened by default. It had a save feature. Now every time I play it is always set to closed and wants me to do classic crafting. This is very annoying for playing with a controller. It’s a lot easier on a computer compared to a controller. I am hoping it’s just a bug with the newest update and it can be fixed.
