Teleporting a player while they're in a chest interface causes them to exit the chest but the chest remains open.

I used /tp on my friend to move them 10000 blocks away while they were in the chest interface. The were exited out of the chest interface, but on my end, the chest still appears to be open, but I am not using the chest. When I try breaking or using the chest, the game crashes.
