Bought the minecraft starter collection and it wont give me the full game

when I bought the Minecraft game I wanted to unlock the full version, when I bought the starter collection the bundle wouldn't appear in my game as if I didn't purchase it. I called Microsoft and Xbox to see if they could help and it landed me here. please help me.
