Crashing upon block breaking

Playing on both a multiplayer world and realms, game crashes frequently- upwards of 15 times per hour.

Usually this is initiated by breaking a block or using the attack button. Game freezes, then closes completely.

Have never experienced this on MC Bedrock Windows 10 before

Have tried all routine procedures for fixing these things (uninstalling & reinstalling, tweaking settings etc etc) but to no avail
