Lose progress

I have just been working on my mineshaft yesterday, When i came back today it showed the xbox live message, And then i saw my profile but it was Steve or Alex, Now when i gone to check my worlds they were gone, I don't have an xbox live account so its maybe i need an account to save my progress. -masterjayden9
