On-screen keyboard causing fatal system crash on Galaxy Nexus

Sometimes, trying to perform an action that requires the on-screen keyboard to be displayed causes a system crash that requires a force restart of the phone. This must be an issue with Minecraft because I never have the issue on any other app.
