Can't play join friend's world over data even though use cellular data is turned on

Every time I want to join a friend's world over cellular data it won't show in the friends tab even though I have use cellular data turned on and they also have multiplayer turned on. We both were using data and both have it on

This also effects vise versa if I want my friend to join my world
