Blocks don't show up in the UI

Whenever I open the inventory UI certain blocks don't show up. I can only determine if a block is there if I can see a quantity or if I hover over the block. When I hover over the block this appears *item.minecraft:tile.(itemname).name* The part that is highlighted red, for example would say: cobblestone, torch, etc. This doesn't happen to all items but for quite a few of them.
