Impossible to finish a raid

When I was doing a raid in a village, around d the 3rd wave, I could never find the last pillager/illager.I even HEARD it and still nothing. Please fix this, I want the rewards from the raids, but can't do that if I can't finish it in the first place! And the  after I had tried to quit (out of frustration) the game crashed! I love the concept, but I also would love to execute it.
