cannot log into world

I am unable to log into my world. I get the pop up message from the Switch saying "The software was closed because an error occurred." I don't know if it is corruption or not. The world was fine during 1.11, and I only experienced problems once I took 1.11.1, like crashing Minecraft every few minutes before finally locking me out of my world.
