A Corrupt world after village and pillage update.

I Have a world that is 3 years old and I have worked hard on it and have built a lot on. I was playing on it after I updated to village and pillage 1.11.1 and the world while playing all of a sudden stopped working and said the world was corrupted and wanted the bug to be reported. I have tried everything including making a copy of the world which also did not work. I then logged out and back into to Minecraft Xbox and that did not work. I also shut my iPad off and restarted it and it still won’t work. The file size of the world is 182MB. I’m not totally sure if it’s a bug but I heard that words that were very big will say there corrupted. The world when I try to join loads for 10 seconds then stops working and the same screen reappears.
