Minecraft does not go beyond loading screen upon loading resource pack.

When opening a .mcpack file, mainly shaders, the application crashes upon installment. After this, Minecraft will no longer work, as it can't finish loading. Even after removing the resource pack manually, the game doesn't load, and keeps crashing.
