Tamed mobs disappear after loading server

This has happened multiple times already Everytime I load my saved world my tamed wolves disappear I had 3 Wolf's but 1 was missing and than I restarted the game and know 2 we're missing know I'm scared to loose my last one why does this happen ?how can I fix it? Will you fix it? Please fox this issue thank you
