Can't craft anything with iron!

After the 11.0 update, the game and dedicated server (not a featured server) updated. When I logged on, everything seemed alright until my last iron pickaxe broke and I went to the crafting table only to realize I couldn't craft another one.

I experimented with it a bit more and found I couldn't craft anything with iron! Not armor, not blocks, not nuggets, nothing! This is a MAJOR issue and I'm hoping it gets fixed soon.
