Sprinting FOV and switching blocks animations jitter

Sometimes, when I sprint, the FOV change animation is very jittery as shown in the video.
A similar issue seems to also be present when I switch between items in the hotbar: the hand / block / item in hand jitters in the same way.

As you can see towards the end of the video, the problem temporarily disappears after a while, but it will be back nonetheless.
