iOS: Multiplayer turns off after loading world (using wifi)

I recently started a survival world on Minecraft a couple days ago. Everything runs fine, and there seems to be no issues at all. However, I’ve been trying to invite my friends to my world so we can play together, although multiplayer seems to be broken or something. Nothing is wrong on my end, I have all the proper settings turned on, which makes me believe it’s a bug. Before entering my world, it says multiplayer is enabled (first pic) however while playing, it says it’s off (third pic). Lastly, when trying to invite my friends, I can see who’s online, and when I proceed to invite them, they never get the invite.
