Dualshock 4 controller rotates uncontrollably

When I try playing the game with my ps4, dualshock4 controller, the in-game cursor rotates with no stop, even with the controller set on a table. I've tested this controller on my PC and in other games & applications on my phone, and nothing of the sort occurs.
