Random piece of Redstone is powered after entering and exiting nether

Disclaimer: Redstone is powering an on/off nether portal. After entering and leaving the nether a random block in my circuit becomes powered and my lever is incorrectly powered (off when on/ on when off). I’m not sure how to explain this better but I have included pictures showing the circuit before and after leaving the nether.
