Stuck at bedrock level 1

Was mining around level 5 and dug down to level 1 and was unable to jump back out of a 1x1x1 hole. My Avatar doesn't even fully jump. It's like my feet are magically attached to the bedrock. I closed out of the game 3 times in hopes of it resetting the glitch, but to no avail. I tried to starve my Avatar to death and couldn't drop below half a heart. None of my friends have the Beta, so I can't have one of them kill my Avatar to free me.... Please help!!!
