Grass around spawn point was multicolored when I respawned

I used the “Vast Desert Oasis” seed that is provided and I was in a desert cave when my game glitched. I was bridging across lava, placing down cobblestone when the cobblestone I tried to place down didn’t show up and I fell in. I was at near full health and died immediately, but I clicked respawn anyway and when I spawned by my bed, the grass was different colors. It still had the same texture, but each block was a random color that I don’t think there are even dyes for, like reddish magenta or neon yellow-green. The grass was in odd colors in a square around my small house. When I destroyed and replaced one of the dirt blocks within the square, it looked normal again.
