Minecraft crashes on startup when signed into Xbox live

When trying to open the Minecraft app when connected to witless network the app tries to sign you into Xbox live which causes the app to crash. Restarting the app results in it crashing again, the only way to solve this is to disconnect from the wireless network then the app starts again normally as it downstairs sign in to Xbox live
