Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is not downgrading after unenrolling from Xbox Insider Program

I recently unenrolled from the Xbox Insider Hub program and the Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta. My Minecraft version however did not downgrade to a public version after unenrolling. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting my PC with no luck. My Minecraft version is stuck on the Insider version even though I am not in the program anymore.
