1.10.1 1.10 Realms

My (free trial) Realm saved as a 1.10.1 server. I tried to download a copy of it succesfully doing so but I cannot open it saying "A newer version of the game has saved this level. It cannot be loaded." I have redownloaded minecraft though it never got the update, can someone explain or help why this happens?
