Maps on bedrock do not show half slabs colour (ie: Quartz slabs shows up as grey)

On bedrock edition maps, slabs such as a quartz slab do not show up as their block colour, they only show up as grey.

in the screenshot below the platform  of quartz slabs beside me is indeed registered as grey on the map whereas quartz is white.
