Unable to jump in a bedrock hole

I was mining near bed rock and I went into a hole, there are currently no blocks above but the game continues to keep me from jumping, I can mine past the imaginary block that are keeping me put, I cannot get out, I've tried stairs and half blocks to step out but the game still believes I have a block over head, the jumping action does work but makes the sound as off you are hitting something right above you, I am still currently stuck and have exited and re-entered the game multiple times please help me out
