My wife dug down to the bedrock level. She was unable to jump and is stuck. I came to help her and put stairs down to walk out, now I am stuck also. I cannot jump or use stairs.

 My wife dug down to bed rock level and is now stuck and unable to jump. I went down to help her and took stairs with me. I cannot go up the stairs and I also cannot jump. We are unable to get out of the area.
