Cannot jump while standing on bedrock.

I dug down to bedrock, and I cleared the entire area looking for Diamond.  There is nothing above or around me, except bedrock.  I am not deep down a hole, I only need to jump up 1 block to get out of the bedrock where I am.  However, no matter what I do, I cannot jump up, so I am stuck in the bedrock.  I tried to put down a cobblestone block to jump up on that, it did not work.  There is nothing around me, no lava, no water, just bedrock as far up as I can reach, so it is 100% clear above me.  I am in Survival mode on XBOX One S, and I do not want to switch to Creative.  I copied my game and switch to Creative mode, and I weas able to FLY out, but not jump out.  Please help!
