Random Periodic Freezing/Loss of Progress (Switch)

As the title states, I’m currently experiencing random periodic crashing and freezing accompanied by loss of progress. The progress lost has been anywhere between 1-2 minutes all the way up to around 30 minutes. At first I thought it was due to the new Minecraft texture pack (I believe it’s still a beta? Not sure) it was a lot worse then, happening every couple minutes and any time I tried to quit the game. Now with no texture packs or anything, I’m still experiencing the same results in smaller quantities; still multiple times a day. My switch says it’s version 1.9.0
