Severe battery drainage since 1.10.0 update on all devices

Was playing Minecraft pe on my iPad Air 2 and noticed after about 40 minutes of playing my battery had been completely drained from 100 percent to 48 percent in that small time frame and had not done so since before the new 1.10.0 update to the game. Please fix ASAP!!!
