I can't write in chat

When i tap the button to write a message, i can't write, i mean when i tap a letter is doesn't write and in drawing mode i can only write only 1 letter.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Okay, it's working for me now, i installed SwiftKey keyboard and then it worked.
