Huge lag opening inventory (no shulker box)

Opening inventory in game causes large lag, similar to if not longer than opening inventory with full shulker boxes inside. Makes going into inventory take much longer. During split screen both players must empty all slots for less lag. Pressing Y and then quickly turning before menu loads, results in you facing the opposite direction before inventory opens. Survival in both solo and split screen unplayable in this condition.
