TNT is Loud no matter where you are

I was in the nether, creating a long tunnel using tnt to clear away blocks, when I noticed that the explosion sound was much louder than the last time I played. I decided to test if the tnt is simply louder, or if there was a bug, And I found that it can be heard at the same loud volume, regardless of distance. I've also done testing in a separate overworld, and Repeated the result perfectly. This sudden, inescapable loudness is quite a disturbance to my own experience.

This may be my first time reporting a bug, but I hope that I provided enough information for the coders to resolve this issue.
