Shields doesnt fully block damage from arrows (haven't test with tridents yet but mainly it's ranged attacks)

Shields only have a chance to block arrows from pillagers or skeletons, and since I have searched all over the place, I still can't find anything about shields that have a chance to block projectiles, please help.
