Parts of my world are disappearing and you fall through to the empty void and die.

I have already started 4 world's. After a little play on the game, parts of the world seem to disappear and you fall through and die. This is frustrating me because I keep having to restart worlds over and over. The longer you play in that world, the more of it disappears. Is there a fix for this?
