My game won't let m sign in to my Microsoft account

My game keeps putting up a text box stating "We tried to sign you in to your Microsoft account but something went wrong. I recently bought the Steven Universe Mashup and it will not work unless I am logged on. Can you do something to fix this please? I feel like I might have wasted my coins.
