turn up the chunk

me and my friend we have a realm on minecraft windows 10 edition and we always played from phone, but then, one day I decided to enter the realm from my PC and I saw that even if the chunks were set to 40, in the realm, I saw as if I had them at 6. I tried to raise and lower them several times from the hypostations of the game but in the realm I see as if I only had 6 chunks.
