Keyboard mishap

Started two days ago.  Not only can I not play my one game I've been on for like 3 years now, but recently when I start up the mouse works fine but my keyboard controls (WASD) do weird things.  if I go forward, it will drop a block, or open the inventory, or open a chat screen, and then if you hold down a single key it will just type some random stuff as you hold down the one key.  The screen shot attached was just holding down the 'd' key.  You can see the gibberish it is doing.  HELP!!!
