Invisible Phantoms and consecutive attacks from phantoms

When phantoms spawn the only thing I am able to see is the shadow. The phantom will also perform consecutive attacks on its target and I don’t think it ever goes back into the sky. I recorded a phantom attacking a villager using the capture feature on the Nintendo Switch. I had experimental gameplay on.
