Command /automate repeats infinitely requiring /crashclient

I was messing around with the new experimental commands when I was met with a problem. I was trying out /automate moveto ~ ~ ~2 1, when all of a sudden I was stuck in an infinite loop moving in one direction. I had to use /crashclient to (sort of) stop it.
