After typing long command, command block won’t let you exit the interface

Whenever I type a long command in a command block (Like /say) I can’t exit the command block interface. Before the latest update, I could click return to go out. Since the new update, clicking return puts a space in my command, which ruins it, and I have to go out of Minecraft in order to do anything
