Parrots dancing animation stuck in first position

I am playing in my survival world and I have collected about 20 parrots of which I've tamed and let sit by my jukebox. When I put my music disk in they move upwards like they are going to start to dance but then they stop. They go back to sitting when I take out the disk. If I click on them they will stand and if I click on them again they will go back to sitting. They are then unphased by the music playing. This has happened twice now. I fixed it last time by relogging into the world and they danced normally. But after a few repeats of the disk they stopped again when I put the disk back in. I haven't been able to re create this in a creative world however I haven't done much testing.
