Block textures not appearing, everything is transparent

Whenever I open up a world, all the textures disappear and everything is transparent except for the sky, shadows, shulker boxes, sign text, fish and block outlines with you point the cursor at a block. I can still move around on top of the blocks and interact with them. 

Started with the newest update as of February 2019.

This has happened with two different worlds.
