New update affects running chroma hills texture pack x64

after the latest update, my games that use chroma hills had x64 cause the game to crash. It begins to load up, but once the game begins to open it shuts down. If I switch texture packs the game loads up. I rebooted the iPad after the update to see if that fixed it, but had no affect.
