Shading on sandstone slabs & stairs are dramatically different from tge shading on sandstone blocks

As far as I can tell this is happening on all variety of sandstone slabs and stairs, they are shaded more heavily than their matching blocks and it makes the shading on an overall build look a bit bonkers.
