Death occurs while standing under glass blocks, respawn with all held items gone.

Two occurrences.  First on latter version, built a castle 32 blocks high. On top, built cover with glass blocks. Save and quit. When reopening, immediate death occurs, Choosing re spawn, spawned without all items previously carried. Pretty disheartening when you have all magic diamond armor and tools. Happened again today. Super frustrating.
