Transparent blocks cause a lot of lag on a powerful iPad 3.

It's been bugging me since 0.5.0. I've switched all settings to low, but they still don't help. The blocks that make me lag-

• Sugarcane.
• Wheat/ Seeds.
• Leaves.
• Water.
• Torches.
• Flowers.

It's only happening when these blocks are in large numbers. This didn't used to happen in 0.5.0.
