Fully automatic egg throwing

So I was in creative and I found out that (this usually works) if you go underwater, draw back a bow, and switch to eggs without releasing the bow it will throw eggs at probably 1800 rounds per minute, no joke. It would probably work in survival, I haven't tested it, but stacks are only 16 so it wouldn't be very useful.
